The North Star Scholarship is an annual renewable scholarship created by an anonymous donor.
The APC Co. NorthStar scholarship offers $5,000 that will be used for upcoming academic semesters tuition costs.
Considering the fact that the scholarship can be renewed annually, the applicants should know that they will need to maintain a required cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the end of the year so as to eligible to renew it.
When the eligibility criteria are in question, the North Star scholarship is designed to support graduating seniors of North Posey High School with a minimum of 3.0-grade point average who are planning to attend any accredited college or university.
However, the applicants must demonstrate great financial need so as to be accepted as possible scholarship winners.
The scholarship committee determined the Selection criteria according to which the lucky recipients will be selected.
The selection will be based on the application form and the supplemental documents provided with the application.
An eligible applicant is a person who is a resident of New York City metro area enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited degree-granting program in any college in the U.S
A good thing to have in mind is that the preference will be given to people who have not previously been awarded a scholarship through the APC.
