Eleanor Allwork Grant is a merit-based scholarship whose aim is to encourage architecture students to continue fulfilling their dreams even though they have certain financial difficulties.
The organization gives awards of up to $7,500 each and there is an Honor(s) grant which is up to $10,000, presenting an excellent help and support for students.
However, being merit-based it means that students who want to apply for this scholarship have to be nominated by the dean or chair of the school of architecture in which they are currently attending.
In order to be able to get this amazing financial aid, you will have to be a student with a high level of academic performance and financial need and the decision who will get the grant will be judged according to student’s portfolios with three projects.
Students who are eligible for this scholarship should be seeking their first degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited school in the State of New York and the dean or chair of the architectural school would choose two students from their respective college or university to apply.
They have to possess a high level of academic performance and evidence of financial difficulties determined by the Financial Aid Officer of the school.
Non-eligible students are those in their final year, while a graduate student is eligible if his or her professional undergraduate degree is in a field other than architecture.
This is not a scholarship only for U.S. citizens.
