“Business Plan” Scholarship For Students With Disabilities

A semi-annual $1000 scholarship for high-school, undergraduate or graduate students created for students with disabilities enrolled at an accredited American institution.

Fit Small Business is a company founded in 2013 providing in-depth reviews and how-to guides for business contents and assisting each month over 450,000 small business owners to find the products and services they need.

They offer a $1000 semi-annual scholarship to high-school, undergraduate or graduate students with any type of disability (including but not limited to physical disabilities, psychiatric, mental, behavior or medical conditions, speech/language or learning disabilities).

The applicants are required to write a 500-1000 words essay (in English) on the general topic “What I learned from writing a business plan” or other optional topics (such as the key assumptions or importance of the business plan). The essays will be judged according to the quality of their content, their originality and style of writing.

The deadline for the application is November 1, 2024 for the Spring semester and April 1 2025 for the Fall Semester. The winners will be notified on November 15, 2024 and April 15 2025.

Who's eligible?

Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited American high school, or pursue an academic undergraduate or graduate degree at a college or university in the United States.

Only students with any type of disability (including but not limited to physical disabilities, psychiatric, mental, behavior or medical conditions, speech/language or learning disabilities) are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

 The applicants must submit their essays via email by November 1, 2024 for the Spring semester and April 1 2025 for the Fall semester, including the following additional information:

  • Subject line for the email “Business Plan Scholarship Application”
  • Name of their school, college or university
  • Their anticipated major
  • Expected date or graduation
  • The type of their disability
  • The applicant’s current grade level

The winners will be announced on November 15, 2024 and April 15 2025.
