Jean Andrews Nursing Scholarship

The term scholarships and grants are almost similarly the same but a bit slight difference when it comes to financial obligations. Scholarship may mean as gift aid, such aid has no further obligation to repay whatever funds was released. Meanwhile Grants are given in accordance to the financial status of the applicants. At times it may differ in the amount given due to the necessity. Limited awards maybe given to scholarships as they compete academically for a limited slots accordingly while grants may be in the form of financial aid.

Though all applications for the current year may passed already but stay accessed in the coming months for it may re-open again for the next year scholarship awardee. This scholarship is for the Vermont residents only.

An opportunity for the students to further continue studies specially to those who were under the child foster care at Vermont.

Who's eligible?

  • Must be a resident of Vermont
  • Must belong under the child foster care under the custody of Vermont
  • Enrolled in an accredited school under the approval of federal Title IV funding
  • Shows financial need and incapacity to continue studies financially
  • Age not exceeding to 21 years old

How to Apply

  • Create your VSAC account online or if you have one log on to get accessed
  • Click the apply for scholarship section
  • Go to Unified Scholarship Application (USA)
  • Submit your essay in the Required documents in your VSAC account
  • You can mail additional requirements if online application is not accessible
