A $500 scholarship offered by the Fletcher Firm to talented American women enrolled either part-time or full-time as undergraduate or graduate students.

Full Description

The Fletcher Firm is a legal organization operating in both Nevada and California, offering legal representation and guidance for a great variety of cases, such as personal injury, civil litigation, criminal defense etc. They are guided by a strong ethics of responsibility.

Their scholarships are targeted to female U.S. citizens following a similar ethics and sharing the firm’s dedication to knowledge, integrity and strength.

The applicants must be enrolled either part-time or full-time in an American college or university, pursuing their undergraduate or graduate studies.

The most important part of the application is the writing and submission of a 1000 to 1500 words essay describing the candidate’s triumphs and ambitions and touching upon topics such as: the most important struggles they had to overcome, the ways in which they managed to do this, and how does such struggle continue to have an impact of their lives.

Furthermore, they should also describe their life goals and how they plan to achieve them. The winner’s essay, together with a 500 words biography, a Facebook link/email address and a photo will be featured for one year on the firm’s website.

The amount of the scholarship is $500 and the deadline for the application is September 1, 2024.

Who's eligible?

This scholarship is dedicated solely to female applicants who have to meet the following criteria:

  • Must have American citizenship or be permanent legal residents of the United States
  • Should be pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degrees (part-time or full-time)
  • Should not have earned more than $35,000 in the previous year
  • Must have an active Facebook page and email address

How to Apply

The applicants must submit by email a 1000-1500 words essay (typewritten, double-spaced, 12-point font) describing their triumphs and aspirations no later than September 1, 2024 and they should also share the news of their application on Facebook. The email should also contain the applicant’s name, age, phone number, city/state of residence and Facebook URL.
